    Each shade is beaten by hand from raw metal — the surface left exactly as the hammer found it. An iron arc carries it; copper rivets hold the joint. The texture catches light differently at every angle, which is kind of the point.

    The shade connects to the forged arm through a single knurled brass wheel — turned by hand to set the angle, tight enough to hold wherever you leave it. Copper rivets pin the shade in place. Every fastener is chosen to age well.
